here are a few pics that I picked out..... let's keep this momentum going .... :) ...  I am very much looking forward to seeing your images etc ... and to us all keeping in touch as things evolve .... and continue through interesting experimental and creative spirals ...

ok, this post is (just) to get this blog started ....   :)

a few things happened in last days that felt like experimentation ....   where I made or found some very interesting images   :

filming the slightly frozen river here in Ii ...great close up images of the ice surface and patterns of lines made by the snow on top of the ice   .... and a little movie of how the slow movement of the waves under the ice, pushing and changing the white shape made by the air trapped under the ice ... very interesting fluid movement and shapes, made naturally

torchlight at night , directed at angles across the surface - very close to the ground covered in snow (partly covering small pebbles on the road...) .... it was like a stage spotlight, and made nice curved areas of light and ... some colours too

looking at setting sunlight through trees and leaves/branches - by houses, and also at the seashore, which was quite fantastic  (this can be filmed, or photographed)

a torch light in a room in darkness - pointing into a waste bin which has lots of holes in the design of the sides of the bin - great shadows and patterns!    :)

I have saved some apple pips - that I will bring on Tuesday ... as they might be useful  (one idea is how found/waste organic items can look great when placed together and photographed - this 'idea' is inspired by an artist friend who did just that - collected items from teh street abroad somewhere and making fantastic arrangements of the colourful items and photographed them ... and then framed the prints - they even look 3D!  ...). I will try to remember some orange peel.

I will try and get images of these things so you can see what I am writing about ... but like I said ... this post is a start at least ...   :)))        - **update**! ... some of imagery is in this post now ...   :)
